Dedicated Los Angeles Divorce and Family Law Attorney
With as many people as there are in the communities of the Los Angeles metropolitan area, there are no two people who are exactly alike or have the identical concerns about their lives and families. Therefore, you should expect personal attention and legal service that is tailored to your individual needs and worries from your attorney.
At the Law Offices of Robert M. Cohen, we care deeply about our clients and will fight to protect their best interests. We apply decades of legal experience in family law to provide effective counsel and representation. You will not receive cookie-cutter service that fails to address the important details of your situation. Instead, our attorneys build a relationship with each client, learning about each client’s unique challenges and concerns.
Our Founder: Robert M. Cohen, Attorney at Law
Mr. Cohen was first admitted to practice law in 1965 in the state of Massachusetts. He is also admitted to practice law in the state of Rhode Island (1966), the state of California (1967) and in the U.S. District Court, Central District of California. He has practiced at a large California law firm and as a partner in a medium-size firm. Through his legal experience, he has represented clients in a variety of practice areas, including family law and civil matters. Much of this representation included a significant amount of litigation, and this experience with trial work remains useful in his practice today.
In 1980, Mr. Cohen established his private practice, and by the mid-1980's, his firm focused exclusively on family law. Mr. Cohen has continued to practice solely in family law since that time, including matters such as high-asset divorce, child custody and visitation, child support, palimony, paternity, and other family law issues.
Mr. Cohen is a member of the Los Angeles County and Beverly Hills Bar Associations and a member of the Los Angeles Bar Association Family Law Executive Community. He has also served as a family law mediator and arbitrator for the Los Angeles Superior Court, and he has been an adjunct professor at Pepperdine University.
